Marcella is from Albany, New York and now resides Gulfport, Florida... a sweet little waterfront Art Village. She ties knots into life like forms resulting in truly extraordinary sculptures.

In Florida Marcella attended SPC and then the University of South Florida while a student at USF she worked for Anne Andersson, a Master Sisal Sculptress who inspired her and soon became her mentor. Marcella then made a major career decision after her graduation to embark on her art career. Along with the insporation from Anne, Marcella has also been the instructor for knot tying class with the Coast Guard Auxiliary in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Now, she brings together her knot-tying expertise and artistic talents to create her one-of a kind sisal sculptures.
